Now more than ever, it is important for men over the age of 55 to start thinking about maintaining and/or improving the state of their prostate health.
Directly inspired by Dr. Mirko Beljanski’s 50 years of research in biochemistry and molecular biology, Prostabel® is an innovative, patented blend of Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria extracts that specifically promotes the health of prostate cells, an essential factor in maintaining normal prostate function. 2*
Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria have a protective effect on cells, promoting healthy cellular regulation, particularly when the hormonal system is challenged.3*
What is Pao Pereira?
PAO PEREIRA is a tree native to the Amazon rainforest. It was Dr. Mirko Beljanski who was among the first to formally research the therapeutic action of Pao pereira bark when he was at the Pasteur Institute (France).
While living in a naturally preserved environment, certain South American Indian tribes used Pao Pereira bark ("Geissospermum vellosii") to provide additional support for the immune system (1).
Pao pereira is a very well-known plant species, which has been clearly identified, documented and shown in many botanical gardens.
The botanical family of Pao pereira was first described by the botanist John Miers who published a memorandum on the Apocynaceae in 1878.
Robert Bentley stated that the bark was widely used in Brazil as a febrifuge and antiperiodic in A Manual of Botany: including the Structure, Classification, Properties, Uses, And Functions of Plants.
Dr Beljanski’s Pao pereira extract is derived from the bark of the Amazonian tree Geissospermum vellosii. (Extracted from the bitter inner-bark).
Pao pereira has been used for centuries

Harvesting Pao Pereira
Harvesting of the Pao pereira bark can be done without cutting down the tree and the bark regenerates quickly without permanently damaging the tree. Pao pereira bark harvesting performed in the traditional way, provides essential income for many South American farmers. The long journey to a bottled product often starts with only a simple boat or a donkey. The harvesting of pao pereira is a part of the global fair trade initiatives.
